The
StrideGlider is simple and FUN to ride, or should
we say glide? Additionally
fitness options provide a low impact, cross-training
workout with less effort and less risk of injury.
The
StrideGlider roller offers greater freedom of
movement, stability, balance and maneuverability than a traditional
bicycle or scooter. It's low center of gravity and the rider's
upright position reduce the risk of falling and injury. The reduced
risk of falling and injury and the fitness components make the
StrideGlider scooter more attractive than most adult sized
scooters.
As
therapists we are excited about the way the StrideGlider
counteracts the effects of aging. Decreased balance and quadriceps
strength are known causes of falls. StrideGliding prevention
exercises integrate the two sides of the body while increasing
leg strength. It allows one to easily integrate exercise into
daily life while simultaneously decreasing the impact to the musculoskeletar
system.
